Your email (for verification), Primary college,Address(optional) , your Ghost Identity, and the content you post. Nothing else.

No phone numbers, no real name (unless you volunteer it in your bio), no contacts, no advertising IDs.

Where it's stored
Data is stored on ISO 27001-certified infrastructure in India, encrypted at rest with keys rotated every 20 days.

Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, you can export, correct or delete your data at any time from Settings → Privacy → Your data.
Tips from the Campus Ghost team
- Keep your app updated — new privacy protections ship every few weeks.
- Your Ghost Identity is protected end-to-end. Even Campus Ghost cannot link a post back to your real name.
- If a screen looks different, tap Help inside the app for live, contextual guidance.
