Step-by-step guide

Open Settings → Help Center
Tap your Ghost avatar, then Settings → help Center→ Mail For Id Deletion

Choose what to keep public
You can delete the account and every post together, or delete the account and leave posts as [Deleted Ghost]. Community Verified posts are often kept so students can still benefit from them.

Confirm with a login link
For security, we email a confirmation link to your mail id. Deletion is irreversible after you confirm.

What happens next
Your identity record is purged within 24 hours. Content marked for deletion is removed within 7 days from all backups.
Tips from the Campus Ghost team
- Keep your app updated — new privacy protections ship every few weeks.
- Your Ghost Identity is protected end-to-end. Even Campus Ghost cannot link a post back to your real name.
- If a screen looks different, tap Help inside the app for live, contextual guidance.
