Step-by-step guide

Open Your Profile
Tap your Ghost avatar in the bottom navigation or header, then click Edit Profile.

Open the Avatar Picker
Tap on your current avatar to launch the custom Ghost Avatar selector modal.

Choose Your Ghost Style
Browse through different distinct avatar designs (Classic, Neon, Cyber, Detective, Academic, Ninja) and choose your favorite.

Save Changes
Tap Save. Your updated Ghost avatar will now appear next to your Ghost handle on all posts and comments.
Tips from the Campus Ghost team
- Keep your app updated — new privacy protections ship every few weeks.
- Your Ghost Identity is protected end-to-end. Even Campus Ghost cannot link a post back to your real name.
- If a screen looks different, tap Help inside the app for live, contextual guidance.

Will other students see my real identity?
